What is Dental Matters doing to ensure Patient Safety?

We at Dental Matters are taking necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our patients and employees. We are updating our clinical protocols based on the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and other key health organizations. Please refer to the appointment guidelines for important information about your appointment.

Appointment Guidelines

• Clinical Protocols:
  • Screening – At Dental Matters, we have implemented a screening process and streamlined patient pathway that allows us to quickly isolate anyone experiencing potential coronavirus symptoms.
  • Cleaning – We continue to ensure that all areas within our clinic are cleaned regularly with cleaning products that have been approved by the EPA as effective against coronavirus (COVID-19).
• Patient Policy:
  • Social Distancing – To ensure effective social distancing, patients will be seen at staggered times to decrease patient interactions. If you are with a visitor, please have them wait in the car as our reception area is limited following social distancing guidelines. A pair of gloves and a mask will be provided, along with a questionnaire regarding symptoms of COVID-19.
