Dr. Mazher Syed has been helping people to put their best smiles forward for the past 15 years. His dedication to patient care shines through in his thoroughness in dental work, and he hopes to encourage healthy smiles in all of his patients.

Dr. Mazher Syed earned his Bachelor of Dental Science degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in India before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Additionally, he has continued to learn throughout his career and expand his knowledge on more specialized topics. Dr. Syed has trained with Nobel Biocare on All on Four implants, completed a two year program (USDI) for orthodontic training and a professional orthodontic seminar, pursued continuing education with AIC Education and Hiossen for oral surgery and implants, and attended a crown clinic and hands on course through the Institution of Dental Advancement. Additionally, Dr. Syed is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois Dental Association (IDA), and Chicago Dental Society (CDS).

For the past 15 years, he has been an associate dentist at other dental offices, performing oral surgery, orthodontic treatment and general dental procedures. After working at other dental office locations, he decided it was time to open his own private practice in 2019. He speaks fluent Urdu and is known for using his sense of humor to help patients feel at ease in his office. He likes to say that his mission is to save the world one tooth at a time.

Dr. Khaden received her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago. She continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD).  She has graduated with many honors, including Dr. Curt J. Gronner Award, A.C.E. Student Scholars, and Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Dental Student Award which honors senior dental students who have achieved academic excellence and have demonstrated outstanding leadership. Dr. Khaden believes everyone deserves a beautiful and healthy smile. She continuously strives to increase her knowledge and skills through continuing education courses and mentorship. She is a member of ADA (American Dental Association), ISDS (Illinois State Dental Society), CDS (Chicago Dental Society) and AAWD (American Association of Women Dentists).

Dr. Khaden was born in Chicago, however, she considers Pakistan her second home. She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi. She is working towards becoming proficient in Spanish as well because she believes it’s important to communicate with people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. In her free time she cherishes her bonds with her friends and family, reads novels, and pursues continuing education courses. She is always looking for the next book to read and would love to hear what books you love and recommend!

Dr. Rory Chong firmly believes in providing a treatment experience with respect and care and always has the best interest of his patients at heart.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, he studied at the University of Toronto, obtaining his degree in Industrial Engineering and Applied Mathematics. He completed his dental education at New York University where he graduated amongst the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During his training, Dr. Chong was concurrently involved in research at national conferences where he gave award-winning presentations on accelerated orthodontic tooth movement and critical thinking in dental education. His passion for education has led to him giving presentations at conferences, study clubs, and dental institutions.

Dr. Chong went on to complete his orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was a winner of a national Invisalign award. He also obtained a Masters degree for his research involving the development of a novel method for analysis of tooth movement in 3D.

Dr. Rory Chong is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and Chicago Dental Society.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, music, tennis, and traveling. Dr. Chong looks forward to meeting you and being part of your family’s great dental experience.

Dr. Laura Habeeb is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to helping every patient feel confident in their smile. A proud graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, Dr. Habeeb graduated at the top of her class and continues to pursue excellence through ongoing education and advanced training. She is certified in Invisalign, braces, and the use of botulinum toxin (Botox), offering a comprehensive approach to both oral health and aesthetics.

At the heart of Dr. Habeeb’s philosophy is a focus on patient education and gentle care. She believes that empowering patients with knowledge helps them take an active role in their oral health, leading to healthier, happier smiles.

As a child of immigrants who never had the luxury of receiving dental care, Dr. Habeeb’s passion for dentistry is deeply personal. She understands the value of compassionate, accessible care and strives to provide every patient with the quality and comfort she wished for her own family.

Dr. Habeeb is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Orthodontic Society (AOS).

Outside the office, Dr. Habeeb enjoys working out, going for walks, and spending time with her loved ones. She speaks English and Arabic and is currently learning Spanish to better connect with her diverse community.

Meet our dedicated Office Administrator Nazia Mohsin. She is a foreign-trained Dentist having completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India. After moving to the United States she earned a Master of Public Health degree from Benedictine University, Lisle, Illinois. With a wealth of experience in Dental Administration and prior knowledge of dentistry, Nazia seamlessly oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and patient-focused environment. Her commitment to excellence and organizational skills play a vital role in delivering top-notch dental care to our valued patients.

She also facilitates marketing efforts, budget management of operations, and staff supervision, and maintains relationships with partner organizations while allowing our skilled dental team to focus on delivering exceptional oral health services. Her responsibilities also include ensuring employee satisfaction and efficiency to enhance our service quality. Additionally, she also ensures compliance with health and safety regulations at the office and maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Palwasha  is committed to fostering a friendly atmosphere while overseeing daily operations. Her passion of patient wellness shines through in every interaction, making sure you feel valued and well-cared for. Whether coordinating appointments or addressing your concerns, she is here to support you on your dental journey.

She is responsible for staff training and making sure that she leads the team by example.

Her task include coaching employees, scheduling employees, handling staff and patient issues, setting monthly goals, and much more. She oversees front desk operations making sure patients receive good customer service along with exceptional dental care at Dental Matters!

Jing grew up in Beijing, China, and later moved to the United States for her higher studies; therefore, she is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Jing completed her dental hygiene program (RDH) at Kennedy King College (currently moved to Malcolm X College). Before that, she gained her Bachelors in Biological Sciences degree from Northern Illinois University. Jing is confident and very skillful in giving her patients scaling and root planing. As a primary gum care provider, Jing is very passionate about oral health and would love to educate patients; she believes growing up with the patients is the best part of working as a hygienist. If you come to the clinic to get your teeth cleaned, please tell her what your favorite restaurant is around because she is a foodie and she loves to explore!

With over 10 years experience as a Dental Hygienist, Justin R Reyes has built his career and passion for Dental Hygiene working in a variety of Clinical settings from Mobile Dental Clinic providing preventative services to Elementary and High schools throughout Chicago, a Public-Health Dental Hygienist in a Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) for underserved populations, and corporate/private offices.  Justin earned his Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Harper College in Palatine, IL in 2012 and has been in service to his patients to this day.  Outside of Dental Hygiene, Justin is a combat sports enthusiast. He has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10+ years and is an active Black Belt Competitor year round.
